Getting to know “Hotelito”...
Along Mexico’s Pacific coast, nestled between the Pacific
Ocean and the Sierra Madre Mountains, an enchanted paradise
beckons those with an appreciation for nature and an affinity
for the unique. Hotelito uses solar energy only for energy needs
of the hotel. At night, hundreds of candles light the rooms
and restaurant. Luminaries light the pathways that meander throughout
the resort. “Hotelito was created for the new
millennium,” explains Marcello Murzilli, creator and founder
of Hotelito. “In every aspect, it speaks of change, and
of taking care of nature.” Where is Hotelito
Located?
Hotelito is located 60 miles South of Puerto Vallarta, and 3
miles from Cruz de Loreto, along the Costa Alegre in Jalisco,
Mexico. What to Expect
To begin, expect the unexpected!
The estimated drive time from the airport to Hotelito is 1 hour
and 45 minutes. Upon arrival at Hotelito, you will begin to
feel the enchantment of this singular place. Should you arrive
at sunset, you will notice the hundreds of candles and torches
that light up the property.
Since Hotelito chooses not to have conventional electricity,
we supply a flashlight in every room for your personal use.
What to Wear
Dress is relaxed and unpretentious—bring your most-loved,
most comfortable clothes. Dinner is a special time at the Hotelito,
and you may want to wear something comfortably appropriate.
We suggest you bring cotton clothing, a light sweater or shawl,
and walking shoes or sandals for making your way around the
beach sand pathways. If you will be horseback riding, don’t
forget a pair of jeans and light boots. What
to Bring
The essentials: A good book, a trusted friend, a beloved partner
The practical: If you require special medicine, bring an adequate
supply for your stay, as it may be difficult to obtain in the
local village. For entering Mexico, remember to bring your passport
or proof of citizenship. Remember to bring/wear something WHITE and fun for the wedding event! (See Wedding Schedule/Events for details) |
